The final result was scored in the Fox Factory 120 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on Friday. Frank DePew and Robin Liddell were in the hunt all afternoon in the No. 71 Urban Grid Solar/MVP Capital Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R, coming back from a penalty in the pits and holding on with the engine losing power in the final minutes.

DePew started 21st and drove his best stint to date; working up to 17th he was right in the middle of the pack before taking advantage of a full course caution to pit at the 35-minute mark. The caution required several laps of clean-up, allowing the squad to call DePew in for the driver change as the field circulated behind the pace car.

“I felt quite good about my stint,” DePew said. “The car felt great as well, it was pushing a little through the corners but it had good straight line speed when I was able to get the power down early. Robin has given me a tremendous amount of help with improving my racing and I am getting to the heels of some of the faster cars on track. The team has done an amazing job! The engineering on the car has helped us greatly. We improved a lot this year and have got a lot we know we can continue to work on to be ready to go at Daytona next year.

Looking to give the team its third victory and sixth top-10 finish in the 10-race series, Liddell was called back to the pits to serve a stop-and-go penalty following a pit procedure penalty. He fought back and was running ninth before his final stop on lap 44. Liddell again got back into the top 10, but the Camaro started losing power in the final half-hour and dropped him back to finish 11th.

“Frank drove really well and I have been very impressed with his driving all weekend,” Liddell said. “Unfortunately, we made a couple of mistakes today and that cost us a bit. We had the pit lane infraction, and the car was losing power towards the end of the race which turned out to be an air filter full of Georgia clay. So it was not everything that it could have been. Between Frank’s good stint and the balance on the car, we could have been fighting a lot further forward than we were today, but so it goes sometimes.”

Following the event, Rebel Rock Racing was announced as co-winner of the Forgeline Spirit of the Season Award. Voted by race fans on IMSA radio, Rebel Rock won the award twice during the 2019 campaign.

Now, the team is already looking forward to the 2020 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season, that opens with a four-hour race at Daytona International Speedway on Friday. Jan. 24.

“We need to reflect over the entire year as a whole, which has been fantastic given our shaky start to the season,” Liddell said. “I am so proud of the entire Rebel Rock Racing team with the effort they have all put in. Frank (DePew) has dedicated himself to becoming a much better race car driver and has improved greatly in such a short amount of time. I am really looking forward to coming back next year and having another go at it.

Rebel Rock Racing drivers Frank DePew and Robin Liddell enter the IMSA finale with five top-10 finishes in the No. 71 Urban Grid Solar/MVP Capital Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R, including victories at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Road America, plus a pair of fourths in the team’s full-time return to the series.

Running as a professional for the first time at Michelin Raceway, DePew has many years of experience at the challenging 12-turn, 2.54-mile circuit in Porsche Club and HSR historic events. “I enjoy Road Atlanta – it’s a great track and a fitting place to end the season,” DePew said. “I have a fair amount of experience there, so I’m comfortable at the track.” DePew is coming off a solid opening stint at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, where he managed the pace and the traffic to help position the team for a top-ten finish.

“I was happy with that, especially since it was my first time at that track and I was still learning,” DePew said. “I managed to maintain a consistent pace throughout the stint without regard to the tires falling off, which meant that I continued to get better on the track. Otherwise, I would have gotten slower with the tires falling off. I’m happy, but I would certainly like to be quicker, and I’m working on it.”

Liddell won the 2004 Petit Le Mans in the LMP2 class, in addition to winning in GT2 in an ALMS race in 2005. In 2013, Liddell won the IMSA WeatherTech (then GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series) event on board a Camaro.

“I’ve had some very good days at Road Atlanta, it is a fast track that has a little bit of everything for the drivers,” said Liddell, who has seen his amazing late-race surge at Road America go viral. “Frank (DePew) has done a remarkable job on the weekends where he’s seeing the track for the first time, so to go to Atlanta with him already knowing the track, that is a big boost. It is a little hard to believe that we are already at the last race of the year, but the team has come a very long way in a relatively short period of time. We will continue to focus on how we execute everything as a team all weekend long and look to end the year with another strong finish.”

The team is currently eighth in the GS standings – a position DePew would like to maintain or even better in the finale. “The team ahead of us has us by 20 points, which would be a tall order, and we have a few teams nipping at our heels,” said DePew. “It’s important that we go out there and put our best foot forward, to make sure that we stay in the top 10 and possibly move up a position in the championship. We want to keep the car clean, drive consistently and see if the race comes to us.”

Practice for the Fox Factory 120 begins on Thursday, followed by GS qualifying at 4:55 p.m. ET. The two-hour race takes the green flag at 1:25 p.m. ET on Friday, and will be streamed live on IMSA.com.

The result at the penultimate round of the 2019 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season, marks the fifth top-ten finish of the season for DePew and Liddell in the No. 71 Urban Grid Solar/MVPCapital Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R.

DePew started from 19th on the two-class grid, moving up to 18th in the early laps of the two-hour race on the storied circuit. He ran a clean opening stint, setting a consistent pace despite the challenge of rapid tire degradation on the California circuit. Feeling relaxed behind the wheel and ready for an extended stint, DePew was called in to pit lane to take advantage of the race’s first caution period. Running ninth with 54-minutes remaining in the two-hour event, the team elected to bring Liddell in for his final fuel stop.

He returned to the race 15th in GS but 27th overall, mired in heavy TCR traffic. While Liddell battled back to eighth, the remainder of the race ran under the green flag as Liddell’s tires were worn out in the closing minutes – costing him two positions on the final two laps.

“I just went out there, hit my marks and got more comfortable,” DePew said. “I was dealing with tire degradation a little, and was figuring out what the car could do. I stayed out of trouble, and felt really good for my first time here in a race car. I’m really pleased, and a lot of that’s due to Robin. He’s given me a lot of tools. This is a whole different level of racing from what I’ve experienced. Everything’s got to be perfect to be even remotely on pace. Also, I was much more relaxed this weekend – I could have driven for over an hour.”

Liddell moved up to 11th on the pit exchange, and worked his way up to ninth on the lap following the restart. At that point, the team anticipated the way the race would develop and called their driver back to the pits to top off on fuel.

Having put superior pit strategy to work in recent races with two victories and two fourth-place finishes this season, the team was looking to make the most of the call to pit lane.

“We ran a decent race, but it was a bit frustrating at the end,” Liddell said. “This is never a track that our cars perform very well on, but the balance was quite good this weekend. Frank drove a great stint at the beginning and at a track he doesn’t really know. We were going to leave him out until he ran out of gas, but we got the yellow and of course we came in. Our pit stop was really good, and we made up several positions in the pits.”

However on Saturday, the long green-flag run – combined with hot 86-degree conditions – led to worn tires during the closing laps.

“We made a good restart, and we decided to pit and do the service to get us to the end,” continued Liddell. “But I’m not sure that really played out in our favor and I just didn’t have enough grip for the last ten laps. Lessons learned from that. The car’s in one piece and the guys did a good job though so I’m happy enough.”

The 2019 Michelin Pilot Challenge will come to a close with the Fox Factory 120 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in a two-hour race on Friday, Oct. 11.

The No. 71 Urban Grid Solar/MVP Capital Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R has won two of the last four races, driven by Frank DePew and Robin Liddell. The team won events at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Road America, in addition to taking fourths at Watkins Glen International and Lime Rock Park. In the most recent event, the team got caught up in an early incident during a sudden downpour at Virginia International Raceway and finished 22nd.

DePew will be competing at Laguna Seca for the first time, although he has spectated at several historic events at the circuit and even managed to drive a few laps in a street car. He will get his first run on board the Camaro GT4.R at the track during Thursday’s promoter test day. “This is going to be my maiden voyage there – and, so far, my maiden voyages have worked out pretty well,” DePew said, having won the CTMP round in his first-ever race visit to the track.  “I’ve studied the track, and I have a pretty good idea of what I need to do. My objectives for Thursday’s test day are to get out there and try to hit my marks at the different corners. I want to be relaxed, driving the car calmly and confidently, and I hope to get up to speed rather quickly there.”

DePew will again qualify the Urban Grid Camaro and start the two-hour race. “I want to keep the car safe, and try not to get into tussles early – just like I try to do at all the races,” DePew said. “I’ll try to be on pace, try not to make mistakes – and try to avoid other people’s mistakes that can take me out. I want to keep as close to the front as I can without risking the car.” DePew will then turn the car over to Liddell, well-recognized as one of the toughest competitors in the IMSA paddock.

“We didn’t get the result that we wanted at VIR, but there’s always room to learn and get stronger,” said Liddell, who is currently 10th in the GS standings. “We had another weekend with inclement weather at VIR and it obviously limits the ability to build pace throughout the weekend and get comfortable. When the rain came down during the race it was always going to be tough out there on the slick tyres and the track was very slick. It’s tough sometimes but that’s racing. We’ve regrouped and we are really looking forward to this weekend’s race at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.”

After suffering a range of bad racing luck in the opening three races, Rebel Rock Racing has four top-five finishes in the last five races.

“I’m really thrilled with the progress that we’ve made this year,” DePew said. “It really does take a village to be a successful race team in this series, and I think we’ve got that. Robin is an amazing driver – especially in our Camaro – and I think we’ve got a team that’s proven that they can execute. If we continue to do that, I think we will fare well in the race this weekend.”

The weekend opens with a pair of practice sessions on Friday. Qualifying will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET, followed by the green flag at 5:55 p.m. ET. The race will be streamed live on imsa.tv.

Frank DePew and Robin Liddell finished 22nd after starting in the 8th position in the No. 71 Urban Grid Solar/MVP Capital Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R, bringing to a halt a sizzling run that has seen the two drivers win races at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park and Road America.

With the starting grid set by championship points position due to an unprecedented amount of rainfall just before official qualifying, DePew made a good start and ran comfortably during the opening laps in the No. 71 Camaro, which had shown well in practice running times in the top five. As was the theme all weekend however, the rain was never far away and with all the cars running on slick tyres the rain began to fall, lightly at first but suddenly it picked up in the final sector and two cars in front of DePew spun off in Turn 17, with DePew also following them off onto the grass in the Urban Grid Camaro. Unfortunately the track conditions were such that he couldn’t get moving without recovery by which time he had lost two laps to the leaders.

“It started sprinkling [on the fourth lap], and you could still pretty much carry full speed,” said DePew, who lives in nearby Richmond. “Basically, the Michelin tires were hot, the track had grip, and we kept going. I was running with the top 10 cars and trying to stay with them. Then two cars went off in front of me in the same place. Once you get in the grass at VIR anywhere in the rain you don’t slow down. The car held up pretty well – the Camaro is an amazing chassis – but we did a little damage. I could still drive it, but it had a vibration, so we tried to nurse it home. Then, apparently, the power steering gave out on Robin.”

DePew dropped to 23rd and ran a double stint following the incident before turning the car over to Liddell with 46 minutes remaining. Liddell then pitted with 32 minutes remaining and retired the Camaro with a power steering fluid leak.

“It was a disappointing weekend, made more difficult because of the inclement weather,” Liddell said. “It’s Frank’s home race track, and he had a lot of guests here today so it’s a shame we couldn’t have put on a better show for them. Frank has done a great job as the season has progressed, but it’s very tough in conditions like we’ve had this weekend. We’ve already surpassed our own expectations this season so we know we can get the job done; we’ll just put this one behind us and move on.”

Two races remain on the 2019 schedule. The next event will be at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on Saturday, Sept. 14, followed by the season-ending round at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on Friday, Oct. 11.

Coming off a thrilling last-lap triumph at Road America, Frank DePew and Robin Liddell have won two of the last three races in the No. 71 Urban Grid Solar/MVP Capital Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R. Liddell’s charge from fourth to first in the final turns at Road America to take the win just yards before the checkered flag marked the result of months of effort to establish the Rebel Rock Racing program into a multiple race winning one.

DePew who is a Virginia native is particularly looking forward to returning to the scenic 17-turn, 3.27-mile circuit located an easy drive from his home in Richmond and the track where he honed his racing chops.

“Since VIR is my home track, I won’t be facing an uphill climb,” DePew said. “I’ve been going there since 2001, when I really started racing. I’ve got a fair amount of experience there with a wide variety of cars and different platforms. Since I’ve been involved with IMSA for the last three years, I only have the time to go there once or twice a year, but I know the track and I’m pretty comfortable there. But I also know that it’s a different ballgame from winning there in GT1 in Porsche Club to being on pace with the top cars in the Michelin Pilot Challenge.”

DePew and Liddell gave Rebel Rock Racing its first victory at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in July. Adding a pair of fifth-place finishes at Watkins Glen International and Lime Rock Park with Andrew Davis, the team now has four-consecutive top-five showings. Out of the top 40 in the points earlier in the season, Liddell has charged to eighth in the standings.

“I’m getting more comfortable with the car,” DePew said. “Robin has been a huge help. I know what I need to work on, I’m developing more trust in the car, and I’m feeling better about it.”

DePew pointed out that the team began gelling long before the recent string of success.

“It looks like it’s all happened in the last four races, but the team’s progress has been a continuous effort,” DePew said. “I’m incredibly proud of the team and the way they’ve come together. We’re making good decisions. We’ve got a number of guys with experience in engineering and/or strategy, and they’ve been working together without stepping on each other’s toes. It’s been amazing to really see that develop throughout this season – and it’s really showing in the team’s performance. We had the second-fastest driver change at Road America, less than two-tenths of a second behind a veteran team. Then for the four-tire change, no other GS team was even close to us, we were two seconds faster. That definitely helps maximize the performance of the team.”

The VIR weekend marks the one year anniversary of the debut running for Rebel Rock with the No. 71 Urban Grid Solar/MVP Capital Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R, as Liddell and Davis teamed for a remarkable run to third at VIR last year.

“It is great to be returning to VIR where we first raced the car this time last year,” said Liddell. “The crew have done such a great job and it is incredible how much progress we’ve made as a team since then. Coming into this weekend we have a good bit of steam so the goal is to continue to build on that and establish ourselves as a regular front runner. VIR is such a lovely track to drive and hopefully we can continue to put on a good show this weekend at Frank’s home race!”

“The car has been virtually flawless throughout the season,” DePew said. “We had a rough start to the year, but we’ve managed to win two races. Overall, the team is performing at a very high level. We’re excited!”

Saturday’s two-hour race begins at 2:15 p.m. ET, and will be streamed live on IMSA.tv.

This gave Rebel Rock Racing the victory in a weather-plagued shortened race.

It was the second IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge triumph of the season for Liddell and Frank DePew in the No. 71 Urban Grid Solar/MVP Capital Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R. Adding a pair of fifth-place finishes at Watkins Glen International and Lime Rock Park with Andrew Davis on either side of the victory at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, the team now has four-consecutive top-five finishes.

“I’ve been at this long enough to know that you never stop pushing,” Liddell said of his last lap charge. “These races can change at the drop of a hat, just like it did today. It was an unbelievable result, I’m so happy. Frank drove a great opening stint; his first time in the wet in the Camaro. The guys did a stellar job again; we were thrown a curve ball with the start being delayed, a shortened race distance and inclement weather, so our strategy went out of the window but the guys did a super job. It wasn’t easy.”

Liddell gained 10 positions in two laps following a restart with 20 minutes remaining, moving him up to fourth. Then, another caution set up the field for a one-lap dash to the checkered flag. He then gained two positions with a brave outside pass in Canada Corner, and caught the leader racing to the stripe. His margin of victory was 0.070 seconds, the fourth-closest finish in series history.

“The restarts were tricky,” Liddell said. “I took the last one in P4, but the one prior to that was very difficult. The conditions were very bad back in the pack, I couldn’t see a thing and made contact several times; we were all driving completely blind. I managed to make up some spots, and then after that final restart, I thought with only one lap remaining I couldn’t do that much. But I had a really good run through the Kink, and was close enough to challenge into Canada Corner. I looked inside but the two cars ahead defended the line so I just went to the outside and braked as deep as I could to get past on the outside. As I came onto the front straight I was pretty happy about finishing second but the next thing I saw was the leader slowing and pulling over in front of me. I just kept my foot in it, drove onto the grass and squeezed past just before the line.”

Liddell also posted the fastest race lap for the second straight race, two minutes, 18.475 seconds.

DePew started the race from the 18th position on the grid, and drove a super clean opening stint in difficult and changing weather conditions. Having stepped up to this level of professional racing for the first time this year, DePew has checked off a number of firsts including first-time visits to tracks like CTMP and Road America, and for both of these races DePew and Liddell found themselves on the top step of the podium. It was also his first time racing the Camaro GT4 in the rain.

The start of the event was delayed for more than an hour by lightning and heavy rain and hail that reduced the event from two hours to 75 minutes. DePew started on rain tires and managed to hold on despite a drying track before pitting at the 29-minute mark, as the teams on slicks had a significant advantage.

“I really just tried to keep it clean, not make any mistakes and bring the car in and get a good pit stop situation for Robin,” DePew said. “Robin is amazing, he’s just a master. We knew if it kept raining we would definitely climb some significant positions. I don’t think we expected to win the race, but we’re pretty happy with it. We tried to put all the right people in the right place at Rebel Rock Racing and with Joe (Hall) and Phil (Pierce) and all the guys, we’ve done that and are really starting to gel. This is fantastic!”

Rebel Rock Racing will look to continue its string of success in the next Michelin Pilot Challenge race at Virginia International Raceway on Saturday, August 24.

Frank DePew will co-drive with Robin Liddell in the No. 71 Urban Grid Solar/MVP Capital Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R as the duo look to continue the team’s strong run of mid-season form. With three consecutive top-five results including a win at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP), Rebel Rock Racing has established a competitive presence in the IMSA category, which features a deep roster of talented teams and drivers. DePew and Liddell combined for the CTMP victory in July, with Andrew Davis pairing with Liddell at Lime Rock Park for a run to fifth place following an unlucky break with timing on a safety car.

Heading to the fabled 4.0-mile Road America circuit, the team will arrive with a recently updated engineering notebook as well as two well-exercised drivers, having recent experience at the Wisconsin circuit. “We tested for two days at Road America before we went to Lime Rock,” said Liddell. “That race was run in very hot conditions all weekend, and the guys were all worn out. But they’ve done a great job, and I’m really happy about that. There is a new bar set for us, since we won at CTMP, and we had a good opportunity to win again at Lime Rock. Unfortunately, we made a few mistakes, and you can’t make mistakes and win at this level. But we will learn from that and continue to grow.”

After a series of incidents in the early stages of the opening three races of the season, DePew, Liddell and Davis placed fifth in the four-hour race at Watkins Glen in June, beginning the team’s current surge in Grand Sport competition that saw Liddell climb to 10th in the standings.

“I’m happy that we had the opportunity to test the Camaro at Road America, and hopefully that will put us in a good place to open the weekend,” said DePew. “The Michelin Pilot Challenge races are so competitive with so many great drivers and teams, everything has to go right to get a result. We’ve had three strong races in a row and our goal is to use what we learned in testing to be able to continue that momentum. Road America is a really cool track and I’m looking forward to getting back in the car!”

The Elkhart Lake event will begin with promoter’s testing on Thursday and practice on Friday. GS qualifying begins at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday (all times CT), followed by the Road America 120, a two-hour race that takes the green flag at 4:05 p.m.

Following a run to fifth at Watkins Glen ahead of their CTMP race victory, IMSA’s most recent race winners Frank DePew and Robin Liddell have seen the fortunes of the No. 71 Urban Grid Solar/MVP Capital Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R make a positive uptick. Both the Watkins Glen and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park  (CTMP) races – held on back-to-back weekends, featured strong opening stints by DePew. The first-year professional driver stayed on pace in both events, keeping the Rebel Rock Racing Camaro in contention on the lead lap.

“CTMP is a fairly daunting track and I had never been there in a race car, so it was great to make the gains that we did through the weekend and even during the race,” said DePew. “We had two penalties at Watkins Glen and still finished fifth, and then to turn around and win in Canada, it was a pretty big accomplishment for the team. It is a great show of what having the right people involved can do. Now the team will work to keep up some momentum here at Lime Rock.”

The two-race surge allowed Liddell and DePew to vault from 49th to 13th in the Grand Sport (GS) standings. With a one-week break, the series now returns to the Northeast to compete at a third classic circuit. Built in 1957, Lime Rock is a tight 1.5-mile venue that features lap times of less than one minute for the Michelin Pilot Challenge GS competitors. Liddell is a former winner at Lime Rock, both in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge competition in 2017, and in the GRAND-AM Rolex Series in 2011 & 12, with all three victories coming at the wheel of Chevrolet Camaros.

“After Watkins we worked hard on just improving our execution as a team, and so it was very satisfying to turn that around and head to CTMP and get our first win,” said Liddell, who taps into his wide range of experience as he also functions as team manager for Rebel Rock Racing.  “Frank did a great job in his stint and the rest of the team did an amazing job in some challenging circumstances. It was such a thrill to win again, and now we hope to continue that success at Lime Rock.”

DePew and Liddell were originally slated to share the driving duties in Saturday’s two-hour Lime Rock 120, but other commitments unfortunately mean that DePew will be unable to attend this event, so Andrew Davis will return to the team this weekend. Davis – who joined the pair for a then season-best fifth-place finish in the four-hour race at Watkins Glen International, also finished second with Liddell in a Stevenson Motorsports Audi in the 2016 IMSA WeatherTech Championship event at Lime Rock.

Liddell: “It’s a shame Frank can’t make it this weekend especially as he’s come on so much in the last couple of races, but Andrew is the perfect fit and I’m sure he will do an excellent job as always. We’ve just completed a two day test at Road America, so I know that Frank is really looking forward to getting back in the driving seat when we return there in early August.”

The Rebel Rock Racing team will be busy on Friday at Lime Rock, with three practice sessions followed by GS qualifying at 4 p.m. (all times ET). The Lime Rock 120 takes the green flag at 11:10 a.m. on Saturday.

A solid opening stint by DePew and a gutsy call in the pits put Liddell in the lead with 40 minutes remaining – and the veteran Scotsman was able to take it home for his tenth career victory in the series.

A late-race caution allowed the remaining contenders to close in for an 11-minute sprint to the checkered flag. Liddell was up to the task, winning by 0.587-seconds.

“This feeling is great and amazing,” said DePew, who ran a clean opening shift that saw him gain three positions and remain on the lead lap in his first visit to the high-speed, daunting circuit. “I came here only thinking of survival, given that I have never driven at this track before. I kept it clean and did what I needed to do to keep us in the hunt before turning the car over to Robin, who did an amazing job. The Rebel Rock team called an amazing race as well. A lot of this win was strategy – two fast pit stops got us in front of the field. Then Robin did the rest.”

Liddell rejoined the race in 13th after the first stop and was up to 10th when he suddenly pitted under green for fuel and tires with 52 minutes remaining – the first of the GS competitors to make their final stop. Returning in 18th, Liddell raced to a 5.4-second lead only eight laps later as the remaining contenders made their stops. He had a bit of a scare as he was lapping an errant back marker who forced him wide onto the grass with 21 minutes remaining, four minutes before the caution bunched up the field prior to the final restart.

“I simply can’t put into words how happy I am that we have won this race!” Liddell said. “Frank drove extremely well in the opening stint but these races inevitably come down to the last fifteen minutes and this was no exception. The balance and handling of our Camaro was excellent throughout the stint, thanks to the hard work and preparation by the Rebel Rock crew. The rear was going off a little but after the last restart the grip had stabilized and I knew I could hang on. I think this win proves to everyone that we are a force to be reckoned with and I’m extremely proud of Frank and the whole team.”

Rebel Rock Racing was coming off a season-best fifth-place finish in a four-hour race at Watkins Glen International, a result that turned around a campaign that saw the team experience bad luck in the opening laps during the first three races of the year.

“We’ve built a completely new team within the last year, and to get everybody to gel and work together as a group in that time is an incredibly hard process,” Liddell said. “We’re constantly looking at how we can make things better and get the best out of the team. We sat down together after Watkins Glen last week and discussed what we could do to improve and after some changes thankfully, everything worked out according to plan. I can’t thank the guys enough; I’m absolutely delighted with the outcome.”

For the team’s effort, Rebel Rock Racing was again voted the Forgeline Wheels ‘Spirit of the Race Award’ for an unprecedented second-consecutive weekend by fans following the event on IMSA Radio.

The Michelin Pilot Challenge concludes its tour of historic Northeastern circuits in two weeks when it returns to action at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Conn., on Saturday, July 20.
