DELAND, FLORIDA, January 23, 2026 – Rebel Rock Racing is excited to announce its move to the GT World Challenge America Championship for the 2026 season, marking the next stage in the growth and progression of the Florida-based GT team. The team will campaign one of its brand-new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVOs, taking its partnership with the British marque into its third season.

In addition to its full-time GTWC program, Rebel Rock Racing will also make a one-off appearance in the opening round of the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. For this event, the team will field one of its fleet of Aston Martin Vantage GT4 EVOs.
The SRO’s flagship series in North America, the GT World Challenge America Championship, has made radical changes to its weekend format, moving from two ninety-minute sprint races to a single three-hour endurance feature. This change adds a level of strategy to the series that has been missing for several years. This format change should not impact too heavily on the Rebel Rock Racing drivers and crew as they have considerable experience in races of this type including victory at the four-hour IMPC event at Road Atlanta in 2020.
Team Principal and co-driver, Robin Liddell, is relishing the new challenge for 2026. “I’m really looking forward to campaigning our new GT3 Aston Martin Vantage with Frank in the GTWC series this year. We had a lot of fun driving the car in a recent test at Sebring but we also recognize it is a decent step up in terms of increased performance as well as a new technical challenge. So after some deliberation we decided that the GTWC series would be the ideal place for us to compete in 2026 as we look to make that jump and get to grips with the new car.”

Liddell wants the team to look no further than this weekend in what is effectively a cameo in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. Despite taking victory eight times at six different venues on the IMSA schedule, the annual curtain raiser at Daytona international Speedway’s 3.56-mile road course has been anything but a happy hunting ground for the team based just 21 miles away in Deland. With only one Top 10 finish in its last seven attempts the whole crew are determined to leave Daytona with at least a place on the podium at the “World Center of Racing”.

“What better way to start the season than racing at our home track at Daytona! With two years experience with the Vantage GT4 Evo under our belts and our race shop just a stones throw away in Deland, it’s one race that we would never want to miss. We had a good Roar and I think we are well prepared although we are a little down on our speed on the banking. The Ford Mustang may be the car to have this afternoon however and there certainly are a lot of them here.” explained the Scotsman.
The 2015 IMPC GS Champion went on to say, “Frank's driving well, I think he got a little held up in qualifying so it is possible we could be starting a little further up the grid. His pace has been good since we got here last week and I’m sure he will do a solid job in the opening stint.

Andrew Davis as ever is providing his usual supporting role and he has been strong every time he has been in the car. But I think overall we have a quick car and I hope if we keep our noses clean, we can finish well. This is not a full season effort so the focus here is to enjoy the race, have some fun and maybe come home with a strong result.”
Round 1 of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, The BMW M Endurance Challenge at Daytona, takes place on Friday, January 23rd with the Green Flag flying at 1:45pm ET.
