As the 2026 GT World Challenge America season reaches its grueling finale, Rebel Rock Racing is set to tackle the final event of its debut campaign in premier GT3 competition. Fielding the No. 71 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO in the Pro-Am class, the stalwart team of Frank Depew, Robin Liddell, and Andrew Davis faces its ultimate test at the prestigious Indianapolis 8 Hour which also serves as the final round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge.

Merging portions of the historic oval with a highly technical infield layout, the 2.439-mile circuit poses a set of unique engineering and set-up questions. Teams must find a compromise that yields high-speed stability through the flat-out sweeps of the oval sections while maintaining supreme agility and mechanical grip through the tight, stop-and-start rhythm of the infield complex.

The 8-hour race will start in the bright afternoon sun and conclude under the glare of the track’s permanent lighting in the cool of night. With significant differences in both ambient and track temperatures, both tire and traffic management will become the key elements as day turns to dusk.

The Rebel Rock Racing driving trio face a massive international grid, packed full of factory teams and superstar drivers, Saturday’s season finale promises to be a dramatic conclusion to a challenging year of transition for the team from Deland, Florida.

Robin Liddell:
It’s great being here at Indy for the 8 hour finale as it has all the flavour and excitement of a true endurance sportscar race. A large grid of international teams and drivers is going to make it a hard fought race and our Aston Martin is finally looking to be a little more in the mix pace wise as we have struggled for grip and performance so far this year. We’ve worked hard to try and get the best out of the car over the longer runs and as this is a notoriously low grip track I think we have managed to get the car into a reasonable window in that respect. Andrew and I have finished on the podium together in this race in GT4 in the past so let’s see what we can do tomorrow with Frank!

Frank DePew:
We have a massive task before us as it not only requires excellent preparation by the crew, great strategy from our engineers, and finally excellent performance from the drivers. This will be a grueling race requiring a lot of drive time from the 3 of us. Having only raced here a few times in a GT4 car, I am still working up to getting the most out of our much quicker GT3 version of the car. My hope is to be comfortable as quickly as I can and get quicker throughout my stint. Robin and Andrew are doing a great job and we are hoping for a good result.
