Deland, Florida (April 21, 2026): Rebel Rock Racing is set to make its much-anticipated debut in the GT World Challenge America powered by AWS this weekend at Circuit of The Americas (COTA). The Florida-based team, a longtime GT4 front runner, is stepping up to GT3 competition for the first time with its brand-new No. 71 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO.

The CieloVision GT World Texas powered by Samsung, marks the second round of the 2026 GT World Challenge America season, running from April 24–26. The team will run in the Pro-Am category with the familiar driver pairing of Robin Liddell and Frank Depew. This debut represents a new chapter for the team, which is entering its third season of competition with the British twin-turbo V8 Aston Martin.
With a move to Pirelli tires, 14 other Pro-Am Class entries and a new three hour race format, the team from Deland has a lot to learn in a short period. Nobody within the team is underestimating the challenge but everyone is relishing the opportunity to build on the success the team has had over the last several seasons of GT4 competition.

“We’re super excited to get going with the GT3 car here at COTA,” explained Team Manager and driver, Robin Liddell. “The car looks fantastic, and it marks a new chapter for Rebel Rock. It’s taken a huge amount of hard work to get to this point, and while it was a shame to miss Sonoma, we’re thrilled to kick off our championship in Austin with great support from Aston Martin.”

The Scotsman went on outline the team’s realistic targets on their GTWC debut. “Moving into a new series brings plenty of challenges and a lot to learn, but it’s an exciting time for all of us. Our goal this weekend is simple: finish the race, learn as much as we can, and enjoy the experience. This event is really about getting comfortable with the car and understanding what’s required to keep building from here.”

Team Owner, Frank DePew is relishing the move up to the GT3 Class.”I am very much looking forward to running in the GT World Challenge America this year. Having just two tests at Sebring under our belt, which weren’t on Pirelli tires, we do have work to do. But with our top notch crew and support from AMR, we are looking forward to getting going on Friday afternoon.”
Track action begins on Friday with a 90-minute test session for all drivers followed by a session exclusively for Bronze rated drivers. Official practice begins on Friday afternoon with two more sessions on Saturday. Sunday begins with a morning qualifying session while the Green Flag flies at 1:30pm EST.
Qualifying and the 3-hour race will be streamed live on the GT World YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/@GTWorld.
