IMSA is home to multiple professional racing series and is also a NASCAR owned property. IMSA produces highly popular and intense action through the most exhilarating sports car racing in North America. IMSA and their racing series are considered one of the most attractive live event properties for
the coveted 29-54 demographic.

IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship

IMSA’s flagship series competes at eleven of North America’s leading sports car venues. Competition takes place in four classes – Grand Touring Prototype (GTP), Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2), GT Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) and GT Daytona (GTD).

The series brings together renowned drivers with leading manufacturers for some of the world’s biggest sports car events, such as the Rolex 24 At Daytona and Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge

From the showroom to the speedway, the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge is IMSA’s showcase for the latest in American-made and imported high performance sports cars, coupes and sedans straight from the dealer showroom floor.

With modifications permitted only in the area of safety and competition, the Michelin Pilot Challenge is home to the same cars seen on streets and highways around the world every day. Racing takes place in two classes, Grand Sport (GS) and Touring Car (TCR) with the series running a 10-race schedule in tandem with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

IMSA VP Racing Sportscar Challenge

The IMSA VP Racing Sportscar Challenge is a North American auto racing series for LMP3 Prototypes, GT3 (run as the GTDX class), and GT4 (run as the GSX class) classes.

The series is sanctioned by IMSA and is usually run as support races for the IMSA SportsCar Championship. The series began in 2023 as a replacement for the IMSA Prototype Challenge series. It is run over six race weekends with a total of twelve races.
