The IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge returns to the hallowed grounds of Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the penultimate race of the 2025 season, and for Rebel Rock the ‘To Do’ list is pretty short; pay a visit to Victory Lane on Saturday, spray the champagne and kiss the yard of bricks.

With a title shot now long distant in its rear view mirror, the squad from Deland, Florida, have the luxury of focusing solely on winning, there is no championship lead to protect and no need to keep a close eye on the performance of any title rivals across the weekend.
Since 2019, Rebel Rock Racing has been a regular visitor to victory lane, securing at least one race win in each of the past six seasons. This remarkable run includes a memorable win at Sebring in March of 2024 which marked the global debut victory for the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo. That early victory should have been portentous of things to come but eighteen months later, the top step of the podium has remained elusive.

The 2.439-mile road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway presents the next opportunity to break that streak and keep that incredible record intact. With 25 high -quality GS Class entries, the competition remains as fierce as ever. But both Team Owner Frank DePew and his co-driver, Robin Liddell know that, despite the wealth of experience and ability throughout the field, the Aston Martin squad have shown enough speed this year to allow them an air of confidence.

Frank DePew understands the assignment at ‘The Brickyard’. “My goal is to be mistake free this weekend. When we did our VIR debrief, it was pretty clear that my pit-lane speeding error and the resulting penalty cost us a spot on the podium and possibly the win. We know that we have the platform to win but it will take a clean, error-free performance to do so.”
The Green Flag for Round 9 of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge will drop on Saturday at 12:40pm ET. To follow all the weekend action please follow Rebel Rock Racing on Twitter at @RebelRockRacing, on Instagram at @rebelrockracing and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/rebelrockracing2.0.
